Baby 2.0 is a web and mobile app (iPhone, Android) that helps you manage and share your child’s life…it is also a fun way to keep track of your baby-related info and to cherish and share his/her special moments. Thanks to Baby 2.0 features you can record and have always within your reach your baby’s personal data, useful info, paps, diaper changes, medical appointments, periodic measurements….and you can even create a diary with notes and geo-localized pictures and share it on Facebook.

We needed something to help us carrying along our babies info AND we are digital and social networks geeks…you do the math!

The app is free at the moment and we do not think of turning it into a paid app in the near future.

We are looking for business partners interested in using our system as a communication and/or promotional channel for their products. The idea is to use Baby 2.0 co-branding it in a market verticalization while supplying quality targeted content to our users. We are also thinking of activating some paid features on our website at a later date.

The Beta version allowed the management of one baby only. We then realized that could be a limitation so we decided to unlock that feature.

Data are stored on the device and as of now are not transferred to our servers. That means that no one but the device owner can access these info. Soon an update implementing data synch between our servers and the devices will be released in order to backup or sync the users’s data on different devices, but still no info or data will be disclosed to third parties.

Baby 2.0 next update will unveil this mystery…… just kiddin’… : ) Data will be exported (or backed up) via Baby 2.0 website. It will not be possible to backup data via the user’s device. Upon registering an account the user will access a reserved area where his/her data will be visualized and a backup, if requested, will be initialized.

.    You must not upload, Post, email or otherwise transmit any material considered to be harmful to our or anyone else’s computer systems, including but not limited to what may contain virus, code, worm, data or other files or programs designed to damage or allow unauthorized access to the Service and that may corrupt or create any defect, error and or corruption to the Service.
.    You must not modify, adapt or hack Baby 2.0 or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with Baby 2.0
.    You understand and agree that Baby 2.0 cannot and will not be responsible for the Content posted on its web site and  that you use the Baby 2.0 service at your own risk.
.    Violation of any of these agreements will result in the termination of your Baby 2.0 account.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

“Content”
The content on this website and on the application(with the only exclusion of “User-generated content”) including without limitation, the text, graphics, and photos created by and for Baby 2.0  interactive features (“Content”) and the characters and logo contained therein (“Marks”), are owned by Baby 2.0  subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights under Italian laws and international conventions.

“Content”  is provided to you AS IS for your information and personal use only and may not be used, copied, reproduced, distributed, transmitted, broadcast, displayed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any purpose whatsoever without the prior written consent of Baby 2.0.

“User-generated content”
You are solely responsible for all User-generated content (i.e. data, text, graphics, photos and or any other information) posted or uploaded to the website.
Baby 2.0 will not perform any form of monitoring or control of the users’ activities hence you hereby agree not to hold Baby 2.0 responsible for any user-generated content.
Baby 2.0 may (but without any obligation) remove or refuse any User-generated content violating the above mentioned Terms of Use, any content which Baby 2.0 may consider offensive, obscene, threatening, libelous, vulgar, defamatory, obscene and or unlawful and /or that or violates any party’s intellectual property.Baby 2.0 reserves the right to delete any Content for any reason, without prior notice.
Moreover Baby 2.0 will have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

“Privacy policy”
With Baby 2.0 current version Data are stored on the users’ device and as of now are not transferred to our servers. That means that no one but the device owner can access these info.
As for the diary’s info sharing options solely the user is to be held responsible for data and info shared and submitted to social networks.

“Terms of services”

Baby 2.0 will make all efforts to provide a 24h service 7 days a week to its users however there may be times when Baby 2.0 may need to perform scheduled maintenance or upgrades or the service may be partially or temporally suspended due to failure of telecommunications links and or other causes beyond Baby 2.0 control.
You agree not to hold Baby 2.0 liable for any loss of content that may occur due to a suspension or discontinuation of service. Baby 2.0 strongly suggests to operate periodical data backups.
